As nice a dream as it is but it will never happen, the Nordschleife in its current form, isn't wide enough, doesn't have enough Run-off and is too bumpy just to mention a few issues, even if it could get around a lot of the issues of becoming grade 1 safety rated due to being an historic track, the fact that there is an entire economy centered around it would put a stop to any changes required to make it happen.
